Michael Ramirez-DeHeywood, is of Latin-Caribbean origins, who grew up on the streets of New York City. New York City being the melting pot of so many cultures, it allowed Michael the place and space to develop his creative juices. Michael is today an acccomplished music producer, aka, Shorty Brooklyn, who has worked along side some legendary musicians, writers, and producers. Michael has worked with the likes of Bobbi Humphrey, Dana Manno, Stan Sheppard, Adam Levy, Reggie Huggins, and Dap to name a few. Michael has taken his creative talents to Italy and created House Of Quito Carib; which has been duly noted and recognized by Vogue Magazine Italy News Letter.
