The K-NINE brand is all about cool, hip, comfortable shoes for those individuals who want to stand out in a crowd without screaming from the rooftops. This K-NINE model is the breakout design for this street brand designed by Kate Hunsinger. It embraces a quiet strength and hip vibe, while focusing on unique design.
An idea and design created by Kate Hunsinger
I am a self-employed graphic designer with 25+ years of experience in visual communication. I earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Since then, I have been busy coming up with innovative design solutions for my clients in the pharma, healthcare, dental, and beauty/skincare realms, doing work for such clients at L’Oreal, Glo Science, QVC, WL Gore, Dansko, Soleo Health, and The Vanguard Group, to name a few. I decided to try my hand at shoe design in order to express my creativity in a different way. I came up with the brand K-NINE because of my love for dogs and my involvement in volunteering at the local SPCA, working with and doing basic training and also fostering sick shelter dogs. A portion of my profits will be used to purchase much-needed supplies for the dogs at the shelter. When I’m not working, you’ll find me running, hiking, or practicing yoga.
