An Idea and a Design by Micah Jones

The one word that describes me most and is the essence of what drives me to do what I do is PASSION!!! You have to care about and take interest in the things that drive you to do what you do. In 1990, I began my service with the U.S. Navy. I was always interested in Sociology and Criminology, so I started a position as a correctional officer.  The ultimate goal was to help transform and assist in correcting individuals’ behavior, so that they could return back into society with a new mindset and behavior. I came across a gentleman and business, BKA, Master P in 2020. He was selling his own shoe brand. I have always known of this gentleman through his music and entrepreneurship. I would write songs and produce music, not on his level. I enjoyed creating music because it is my outlet and my passion. As I stated earlier, I have always liked Master P, so after I purchased a pair of his quality styled shoes; I was invited by Alivewear to see if I had what it took to be a part of the shoe design industry. I am happy today to say I have found another passion that I would love to share with the world in creating a unique, comfortable, and exciting shoe line called Flatwear.
