About D. Taylor shoe brand
Designing the D. Taylor shoe was more of a natural feel. I feel that the black being a solid and bold it’ll give it the foundation I was looking for, the dark beige and the camouflage tongue are two colors that compliment one another. The energy red trim and the brass lace holders were the last pieces to the puzzle. Very exciting to create and be able to have free range with my design! Brxke Apparel stems from my past and things that I’ve overcome. Brxke meaning never being broken mentally, emotionally nor physically and I’ve been all three. I aim to showcase my growth though creativity and deliver quality at the same time.

Dashawn Taylor is a designer and creator of Brxke Apparel and most recently D. Taylor of Dashawn Taylor. He loves people, so I'm is a huge person. His past of him is not nice but he would never leave anything of what he has past define me. Growing up he didn't have much but he always made the best of what I had. Example ... He won the best dress in high school mainly by shopping at clearance sales and department stores like T.J Max. He is very motivated and excited even to be where I am now, but he knows this is not the best for him. He is ready to see what's in store next!
