About Whitney B. Stallworth
Caro B. was created in memory and honor of the late Carolyn A. Booker, who unexpectedly passed from cancer in March of 2019. Carolyn was originally from Pensacola, Florida, but resided on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for many years prior to her passing. She was a woman of many talents, and a mother of 6, which includes creator and designer of the Caro B. brand, Whitney B. Stallworth. Carolyn was a known local hair stylist, as well as a singer, songwriter, poet, and a chef to those who knew her best, not to mention, she was a fashion designer of her very own handmade crocheted items. Carolyn was a fan of fashion and creativity and took great interest in self-expression through her creative ideas. She had big goals and dreams but unfortunately was unable to fulfill them all before her passing. Carolyn loved nature and taking morning walks. Whitney B. Stallworth, states that her morning walks, working out with her mom was always fun, conversational, and full of laughter. Carolyn was a mother, grandmother, and woman of God, who always made everyone feel comfortable, loved, and welcomed in her presence no matter who you were. Therefore, Caro B. was created in her memory to share her name and story with the world, to make sure the world never forgets her name or story. Our goal with Caro B. was to create meaningful high-quality fashion with a purpose, that promotes the importance of diversity and embodies creativity and self-expression through fashion in the memory of Carolyn A. Booker.
