BIO Antoaneta Popova Originally from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Moving to Canada the summer of 2008 to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a World Champion in Ballroom Dancing. Matching up with her dance partner Anton Belyayev brings that dream to reality and in 2016 they become the WDSF Professional World 10 Dance Champions. Other titles and achievements: -4 Times Bulgarian Dancesport Champion -21 Canadian National Titles (Latin, Standard and 10 Dance Champion) -North American Latin and 10 Dance Champion -WDSF Asian Pacific Latin Champion -WDSF World Cup 10 Dance Amateur Champion -WDSF PD World Cup 10 Dance Champion -WDSF PD World 10 Dance Champion -Miss Bulgaria in Canada 2015 -Former Executive Director for Miss Face of Humanity -Fully Licensed NDCC /WDC Adjudicator Antoaneta has always been passionate about helping others and in 2017/18 she accepted the honorable position of Executive Director for Miss Face of Humanity. Since young age she was also very passionate about drawing and Visual Arts so after being in special program for arts at Elementary School she continues studying at the best High School for Arts in Bulgaria following up with being accepted at the National Art Academy. Unfortunately later on hard decision had to be taken and it comes down to either pursuing her dancing or art dreams! Since she decides to move to Toronto to represent Canada as a competitive ballroom dancer she has to drop out from the Art Academy in Bulgaria. That doesn’t stop her from keeping up with her Art as a designer of her dance costumes and also her students costumes. Today Antoaneta is committed to raise a new generation of champions as a Coach and Adjudicator and help the World become a better place with one random act of kindness each day! Art and Dance never stopped moving forward hand in hand! So besides her handmade, customized sneakers and art, Antoaneta is now thrilled to start her own shoe line!!!
